Completely to-and-fro set between Evan and Alexis sees Canter sneak the tie-break 7-6(7)
Not dissimilar set between Alex Jhun and O'Hoisin (who's a US college boy and often plays doubles with British lads) sees Alex get the tie-break, 7-6(5)
Nice to see Ryan Storrie get a win in his first real match back for a while.
He;s got a lot of points to defend from this event last year - after injury, it's not the most important thing on your mind, but it'll be a big drop for him if he doesn't manage to get a good run here.
Sean Hodkin also won, quite easily.
Ben Jones lost in two.

Yep, Jonathan had his chances but Simon scraped the set in the tie-break....into a third....
Mike Shaw has put up a super performance, winning the first set 7-6 against the 4th seed - wouldn't have thought it's a given to get through to the end though... but he lost to him in two when they played a couple of months ago in Greece (I think it was) so already a lot better.....
