Paul Jubb

Looks like Paul has a protected ranking of 270 which he is using at beginning of 2024

Paul has posted an update to Instagram, saying that he has had two injuries - the second one on returning from the previous injury - and his grandmother who raised him died. What a rough year and hopefully 2024 is much kinder to him.

How sad for him. He was always so grateful for everything she'd done for him.

Poor guy. Let's hope 2024 gives him a break and just allows him to be happy and injury free.

I see Paul is onto an Asian swing in Korea and China for 3 weeks starting this weekend. His little clay outing in South America didnt work for him this season after doing well in Glasgow, good luck these next few weeks

 Yes good luck to Paul

Hopefully he can stay fit and display some of the talent he has shown in the past.

Just watched a couple of episodes of Beyond the Baseline. Paul was the main feature through Surbiton and Nottingham, alongside Jodie for a large part.

Paul comes across as a really decent, committed and nice guy - Jack D was in it and mentioned Paul is his flat mate, which someone has mentioned here before.

Got a lot of respect for Paul from this.

And the Beyond the Baseline shows have been really well done, good work by the LTA producers.

And his ranking has risen from in the 700s a year ago to around 180 now. Thats impressive and something that hasnt been well recognised in many places. including here, where Paul has only had 3 nominations for Player of the Month, as an example.

Paul should definitely get a WC nomination!

I think he's gone deep in quite a few tournaments (and had a really good run in the Mallorca 250) without having any spectacular results (e.g. the way Jake F did from a similar starting point). There's been so much good stuff going on this year (Sonay, Megan, Jack D) that he's rather got lost in the mix. Agree that more recognition is needed for what he' achieved!

I agree - Ive actually got 4 players on my PoS WC nominations list that Im thinking of dropping in during December if others dont nominate them / the process is slow, and he was definitely one of them! But Id love it if you got there first as I dont really want to do any nominating for that (I prefer to see how it unfolds!).
