George has had a challenging draw picking up the No 1 seed (Billy) loosing in three, then in the number 4 loosing in three, now the no 7 seed. I feel it just needs the opportunity to build up a bit of momentum and like Jack he will really kick on. Hopefully thus is the week!

He's playing the guy who lost to Anton and to Jack in recent weeks and has barely got further than a SF for ages - he is what his ranking is, of course, but he's certainly not a scary 7th seed.

As expected but well done all the same, George.
And that makes him the third GB 2001-er to beat Ollert in the last month

George through 4 and 3. Plays Latvian 4th seed next who has beaten a local WC and Q to get this far and looking at his recent results, has had a string of retirements recently.
