As CD says, a cracking win.  biggrin

This is big for Evan - if he wins the final he could be playing regular Challenger doubles tournaments. I imagine he has a few empty counters as well.

Good stuff by Evan though by far the most important thing surely remains his singles and pushing that ranking up further so that he can more easily get into Challenger events, more particularly MDs.

If he plays challengers and the doubles compliments his singles fair enough though I'd be a bit wary of losing singles focus with regular doubles. No doubt singles will remain the main dictate on where he plays. We are in no need of another doubles specialist and certainly not Evan.

Agree with all the above Indi, I ll not cover old ground with my thoughts as we all know that by now. It does go without saying that as his singles rank goes up he will be closer to challenger qualies and therefore the same opportunity in both will arise anyway.

Have to agree with Indy and Jaggy - Evan still has a fair way to go to be a specialist. I'd prefer him in the singles top 10 but 150 places higher - which is do-able.

Well done, Evan !!!!

And Mr. Wu Tung-Lin - not bad being a challenger title holder when you're only ranked 1442

Well done indeed.

While at this stage I question the points importance overall for Evan, not bad to land a challenger doubles title.
