 No, nor me.

Sorry if I misjudged that one and caused any offence, just harmless word play was my intention. Apologies.

As an aside, event should be titled Bangalore.

Sultanov has pushed a few decent players to quite close matches over past few events, santillan, safwat, I think he will be a tough opponent for an out of form Liam. Despite his ranking. Hence my original comment

Well, probably the event should be titled Bengaluru, but it depends whether you agree with BJP renaming or not.

I think you misjudged the responses rather than the original post by the way.

As an aside my brother and his family lived in bangalore for almost 3 years til June this year. He says bangalore and bengalaru tend to get used fifty fifty by locals whereas most non locals still use bangalore. Not a scientific study I hasten to add!

Well, leaving aside Banglore or bengalaru - there's a 'n' missing in the title. So it's currently Bagalore

NB I thought the sultanov/raisin jokes were very funny (in a groan sort of way ).
We're all very careful in currant climates not to cause offence, but they were just fine.....

In the main draw:

L32:  Yang Tsung-Hua (TPE) WR 268 (CH = 164 in May 2012) vs James Ward WR 201 (CH = 89 in July 2015)
L32:  (WC) Sumit Nagal (IND) WR 310 (CH = 213 in April) vs (7) Jay Clarke WR 174 (CH = 173 in September)

Great to see Jay back in harness, but a rather unfortunate draw.  cry
