Shame, not great for Naomi losing in the 2nd round of a 25k if she wants to get back in the top 200, especially being the 4th seed - if that keeps happening then she'll lose that seeding privilege pretty quickly. She's lost to a few 17 and under players these past 12 months, I can count at least 5 prior to today, but I don't think Uchijima is in the same league as any of the other 4 she has lost to (lost to the same Jr twice at the back end of last year).

I would tend to agree with Brendan's comment in the predictions league for this year... that Naomi will finish the year in the commentary box rather than on the court. If she can do that personally I think it would be more rewarding and lucrative for her. On the tennis court, she will only improve with sustained coaching and after giving up Andy Fitz she hasn't had that since... and nor would it seem she is going to either.
