Week 2 - Australian Open men's qualifying - hard

And he takes it! Go that man, great win.

6-4, 3-6, 7-5

Lorenzi in the final round certainly winnable, hes past his best. Kyle type game and clay court specialist. Go Dan

Glad he got the win eventually. Didn't help himself with a shocking attempt to serve out the match and some wild returns of 2nd serves at 0-30 in that final game. R did come up with several stunning backhands to save mps.

Its not often that we have players in slam qualifying who are this competitive, Dan obviously has played at a much higher level and its fantastic seeing make a little progress back in that direction. Wardy has form as he was the last British male for an age to qualify for the French, to be honest its just nice seeing him back on court swinging his racket without restriction by chronic injury. Long May it continue

Cam might be the only Brit male to make it through looking at those draws.

What a shot from Dan!

Wow, that's absolutely incredible! You have to watch it about 3x to work out what he actually did!

Maybe Monfils in round 2. Ok draw for cam.

Andy tough , over best of 5, yuck.

Kyle - fancy beating berdych over 5, draw ok after that.

Ward lost out in his 3rd set.
