Ive got a horrible feeling in my stomach just now, Im sure Im not the only one. Andy has been with us for the last 12plus years at this level, its such a sad time. I really doubt we ll have a player again in most of our lifetimes that will contribute as much as he has.
I
Come on Andy!!!!!
3-2, I really dont think he can win this match watching the first 5 games, however the longer he stays in front on serve then perhaps mentally he might find something to somehow overcome his fitness. I think there must be a certain mental aspect to his decision. He could perhaps remain at top 50 level but wont.
Maybe Im being unrealistic, I probably am but part of me thinks it might not be the end. Even though it is if that makes sense.

Anyway Im rambling....
It's all right, you're only stating what most of us are thinking Jaggy...
This isnt Andy out there, 4-5 broken at the key moment. Feels like watching someone else here. Bautista Agut doesnt deserve to be the player to end it for Andy but sadly he will be. The pain in his hips are probably paralleled by how all of us his fans are feeling inside watching this and knowing the end is near and inevitable.
I think if there was a poll of an option for only Andy out of all Brits to go through as a preference hed win that. Just one win here would delight so many. Sadly its not going to happen.
Hip aside, Andy has played what ten matches in a year. Clearly his game just won't be as tight or error free.
He will no doubt lose this but I just hope he can find the desire and fitness to play queens and Wimbledon and , maybe surgery aside, assuming he doesn't have any, he will fulfil his entries to the events indoors. Suspect not, certainly queens and Wimbledon.
It almost doesnt matter what happens this 4th Set, my head tells me a 6-2 Bautista Agut set coming up or similar. What a warrior til the end Andy. So pleased for him. There will be even more tears at the end of this now. Incredible stuff, not seen anything like it for a British sportsman never mind a tennis player.
Has RBA underestimated Murray here? Because it seems like he expected to just grind him into the ground. Or does he just not have the natural weapons to hit through him?
