Emily finally broken in the 11th game of the second set, she had to fend off a number of BPs and eventually cracked. 5-6*. If she does go on to lose 6-7 5-7 then it'll be an encouraging effort.

Side note, I often get the 24 year olds and similarly ranked Natalija Kostic and Nastja Kolar mixed up.

Emily may have lost but to lose in two very close sets, and only losing 2 BPs the entire match, against the top seed and WR 300 is a MUCH better and more encouraging performance from Emily. She can take real heart from it.

Great stuff from Jodie, she was broken in the 2nd, so found herself 1-3* down, but has just reeled off 4 games in a row to lead 5-3*.

One game away from a nice mini comeback win.
