Only Tara is in the q draw, which means Naomi is in the MD or has left. Of note is that Tara was last on the q list but is now the q12th seed, so a lot of players on the q list have not signed in. Her opponent was only 23rd on the alt list, but nevertheless as a promising junior is likely to provide Tara with a tough match.
QR1: Tara MOORE (GBR) [q12] 484/155 vs Pei Hsuan CHEN (TPE) UNR/435 (CH:919 June 18) 18yrs (JCH:41 Oct 17)
Another win for Tara that gains no points - those are the only ones she's had so far this season. The one that counts is against the top q seed sadly, the wily 36 yr old Japanese veteran player.

Although Conny is in the acceptance list she doesn't appear to be here so Tara is playing with Caroline Werner. They play 4th seeds, a Thai and Japanese pair tomorrow. Naomi pairs with Kwan Yau Ng (HKG) and play the top seeds.
Didn't realise Naomi's opponent was a seed and currently ranked above her, but it's hard to see where she goes from here. Seems a lifetime ago when she was competitive in those 125k's at the back end of 2017. After a very poor 2018, people on here were saying for her to drop back down to 25k's and pick up form and confidence, but she's had some bad defeats in those. These events are probably stronger than they will be in a few weeks with people wanting to play at the start of the year, but 4 defeats from 5 isn't an ideal start.
