Naomi also completes her miserable tournament losing 1-6 2-6 in the doubles. There is increasingly not looking like a way back for her from here. Basically her career has been in a prolonged nose dive since she released Andy Fitz as her coach. The basics of her game are not good enough for her to be able to manage without one, and she certainly doesn't have the earnings now to retain somebody.

real shame tara was competing well against a good player
consider she had her usual high df count ceding 4 games to jorovic for free and she was still right in there
another who never seems to be able to play without something getting in the way

Naomi is probably destined for a full time move into a media role by year end. There is no denying she is very telegenic and her stints commentating over the last year or two have been very well received.

Yes I would definitely think that she stands to earn more at this year's Wimbledon in the commentary box than on the tennis court.

Possibly the only way she'll get there, unless she does the wild card playoffs. Come on Naomi, time to get some wins !
