For Jo, the way all these counters work, she is still only +5 points for the week, and no ranking places higher. Her 60 points here so far only replaces 55 pts earned at New Haven last August. However at next week's premier mandatory, Jo didn't win a match last year, so any advance on her R128 10 pts will see an addition to her total.

Apparently Katie was suffering from a sickness bug that affected a number of players. Not good but preferable to an injury I guess. Get well soon Katie. (Info from twitter via AMFF)

Vekic beat Jo last autumn in Tokyo in straight sets.
