Given her continued clay court season, qualifying might be the best thing for her in this regard. 3 matches on the hard courts against people ranked significantly below her (though possible with much more hard court experience) to get her acclimated to the speed and bounce of the courts.

And if she doesn't qualify, she can just head back out onto the dirt.
