Many years ago my table tennis coach said "whatever you do keep smiling, convince your opponent that their lead, however large, is only temporary as you are about to unleash the 2nd part of your master plan". "Look worried and they will assume you have given up".

Whether Gabi will play Nantes or not is still not clear. She is not in the q draw, but she was 6th on the qual list, and the top q seed was all the way down at 11th on the list. So there have been a lot of withdrawals one way or another. I'm not expecting Gabi to be part of the MD line up but may well depend on why she withdrew today.
Gabi is indeed not in the Nantes 60K MD. One player must have been a very late withdrawal since there are 9 spaces in the MD so there will be a LL.
The reason Gabi isn't in the the Nantes draw is because she has received a WC to stay in Turkey for another week - I don't think anyone has opened a thread for that yet? Personally I think this is a good idea as she has been getting some much needed match practice and quite a few wins as well. It also seems to disprove the suggestion that she doesn't want to win. Whilst I agree that getting angry on court is not always the best way to behave, I can understand it to a certain extent as she knows her performance should be better than it is and she's clearly frustrated with herself. I for one am not ready to write her off yet and am still believing and hoping she'll prove her critics wrong.
