Two qual rounds. A tough match for Emily first up, but Sofia, her doubles partner, beat Radwanska last week, so Emily will be hoping to emulate her.

They have played each other twice before, in 2018 and 2019 with Urszula winning both, 6-4 6-3 and 6-3 6-4.

Yes, Emily's only spark of hope was when she went 2-0 up start of the 2nd set, but those were the sole games she won in the match.

In the doubles she and Sofia are 3rd seeds this week, and play Ji-Hee Choi (KOR) and Akiko Omae (JPN) first up.

Oh dear, thought they were in for a few more points this week.
They are headed in different directions next week - Sofia in China, Em in Thailand, so that's probably it for the partnership this year.
