Enough already to take Sam up to GB #4 on Monday, well if Naiktha doesn't win the Australia 60K title, plus up a few more world ranking places.

By the way just to note that Sam is now LR 235, and Katie S 237, so Sam has now moved into the GB #4 position.

Also last year's first cut off for AO qualifying was 235, so Sam is right on that number now. She has no more points coming off this year, so if she wins one more match there are not even hypothetical questions, but she can definitely be booking her ticket now.

Katie S has her last points from 2018 coming off by next week, when she played in Liuzhou and Nanning in China last year. Because Liuzhou is a W60, her haul was comparatively better there, 38 pts vs 27 pts for her last two weeks in Texas. Hence her fall in the rankings by approx 7 places next week. She then also has no further points this year, so should also be fine for AO qualifying, but unless she gains a few further points before yr end, could be in the 2nd qualifying cut, rather than 1st one. She is still in qualifying for the Las Vegas W60 next week. At 4th on the Q list she could get direct into the MD, and would need at least one win. Being in qualifying as a top seed and getting 5 pts for qualifying might suit her though...

 She was *1-5 behind!! I thought she'd lost the set... couldn't believe the score when I came back to check again..

*1-5, and then won 7 games in a row, but that streak is over and under a bit of pressure on her serve *1-1, big pressure now, 0-40.
