Yes, just to note that after yesterday's unfortunate retirement by Naomi at that late stage in the MTB, Tara and Emina went through to today's SF against Robin Anderson (USA) and Jessika Ponchet (FRA), 4th seeds, but they lost easily 2-6 4-6.

This means that it is just Sam that is left from GB women to make it into this weekend's singles matches, whilst Naiktha is still there in the doubles in Aus.

Doubles round up

SF:- Emina BEKTAS (USA) Tara MOORE (GBR) CR461 (247+214) LOST TO Robin ANDERSON (USA) / Jessika PONCHET (FRA) CR 439 (205+234) [4] 2-6 4-6

Slow start to fall 0-4. Only took 1/7 break points against 4/7. Still, a good week and good points.

 What a great performance. Tough round next. Surely not only made it to Austrlaion Open qualies but must be a serious contender for the British Fed Cup team considering the current form and state of injuries of the other players as well as her rankning.
