Men's matches start at 11:00 on Friday 4th September

 BT has started today. 

Second seed, Luke Johnson has been knocked out by Alexis Canter. Alexis won 6-4 6-2. 1st round wins for Anton, Dan Little , Julian Cash  , Jonathan Gray, Billy Harris , Arthur Fery and Lui Maxted

Announced a 3rd NTC swing for early October, 2 indoor events. Tier 1 I presume?

Arthur won a tight match 6-4 3-6 10-8 (MTB), well done to him.

Would be good to see him go after some ranking points after a great domestic run, but imagine his ranking is too low to avoid qualies and perhaps he will wait til.there are more events out there.

He would have comfortably been mid-qualifying in both of the M15's this coming week, but the main draw cut-off is under WR600, so he's just going to have to grit his teeth and go for it !

Surely he gets a JE special main draw spot?

Any junior in the top hundred qualifies for one.

And there's two spots, aren't there?, in each Main Draw, in a 15k.

There's a difference between Junior Exempt and Junior Reserved.

Junior Exempt only applies to the top 20 juniors at the year end, and Arthur was JR36. And I think he could only use it five times anyway. Only one JE per tournament.

Three Junior Reserved places in M15 events, open to the top 100 Juniors, so he can enter that way, right up to the day before his 19th Birthday.

So my.point was that he wouldn't need to fuss with qualis - he's got a md place if he wants one
