Jack seems to have the Indian sign on Karlovskiy:

FQR:   (q6) Jack Draper WR 297 defeated (q1) Evgeny Karlovskiy (RUS) WR 265 by 3 & 0 in 41 minutes  biggrin

A handsome scoreline!  smile

Be good if Jack was to meet Karlovskiy again. Karlovskiy got into the MD as a LL and meets the top seed Barrere, in the same quarter of the draw as Jack.

When that happens, usually the LL wins...

Nice, very one-sided match.

Liam wins 2&4

And the 4 is generous to the other guy.

Bit against the run of play but Jack gets broken and ends up losing the second, 4-6

Jack hasn't had a BP yet. Now would be a good tume.

Having played two horrible shots to effectively give Jack the break points, Jack's opponent then played really well to save the 3 MPs.

And then manages to hold when Jack was a bit tentative at deuce.

Bah, I should have said now would be a good time for BPs and to take one.

*5-5

Jack actually had match points in the tenth game of the decider.  cry

Real shame.

He sort of folded a little at the end.

Absolutely even match overall. Shows he's a 200 player.

But Fred FS was probably just that bit tougher in the third

(The three match points will hurt but he didn't really do anything wrong on those)

Liam & Dmitry have given the 3rd seeds a walkover. Dmitry retired from his singles. So the 3rd seeds are in the Semi Final without hitting a ball.
