The Portu-goose does the double over Max, though it was a slightly closer encounter:

Like Charlie Broom in the US, Max Andrews is now the lucky recipient of a walkover win into the SF.

Particularly useful in Max's case as (if I remember right) that means he'll now get ITF points and get a doubles ranking.

QF: Max Andrews & David Volfson (CAN) UNR (0+1161) def. (3) Mariano Kestelboim & Genaro Alberto Olivieri (ARG/ARG) CR 960 (412+548) - W/O

The first matches of the day started but haven't finished. Looks like the weather is going to wipe out the rest of the day. Looks better tomorrow but a lot of tennis left to play this week in this tournament. Looks like they will need finish 2nd round and 1/4s tomorrow and then try and beat the weather for semi-finals and final on Sunday.

Finally, a bit of play in Portugal.

But not the sort of play we wanted, as young Arthur Féry lost 4-6 4-6 (although it's a decent score, given the ranking difference)

Caught the semi-final TB on livestream - well done both Brits.

And especially to Jonny, who's now in the final.

6-2 3-6 10-5

Lovely to see dry courts

No.  It took place in Manacor (Mallorca).

Like the fact that Jonny and partner have got matching kits today - first time this week from what I've seen.

Like they've got dressed up and made an effort for their final
