Week 45 - Challenger 80 (€44,820) - Peugeot Slovak Open, Bratislava, Slovakia (indoor hard)

Liam was 2-5 down in that tie-break and went on to win it 7-5

Held serve well for two points, Rinderknech (who plays a little like Cressey last week) went for aggressive serves and hit a DF. Then a far too aggressive approach shot. And then Liam served a good second serve and set to Liam

Liam shouldn't be too disappointed with that. It was absolutely nip and tuck. Just like the Cressey one last week where he - just - managed to come out on top. THis time it went the other way. He played well - he's played a lot of tennis these couple of weeks - maybe it was a factor. But he was still distributing the ball well, on the front foot more than he used to be, serving pretty well - a good match.

Oh Poo. The stream also played up for me for the last game so couldnt really see what went wrong.

Caught a bit of the 2nd and the start of the 3rd. Looked a tight match in general. Have watched a bit of Liam last couple of weeks. Is it me or has his serve improved a bit. It might just be the consistency. But certainly to me seems improved.
