Fortunately not too much, thanks. Down on the costas we are protected from the worst of the cold and so no snow here. But it is bitterly cold (by Spanish standards) only reaching about 6º during the day and getting much colder at night.
We have had 2 days of constant rain which has finally relented this morning. But worse still has been the biting wind.
The biggest issue I have is that the houses here are deliberately built NOT to retain the heat because of the hot summers. So my house is like an ice box and no central heating.
The TV news is showing pictures of big waves lashing the beaches at Málaga. Looks pretty hairy! Not having any central heating at such times must be a real nuisance.
Final: (3) Billy Harris & Yan Sabanin (RUS) CR 1381 (869+512) vs Plamen Milushev & Simeon Terziev (BUL/BUL) UNR (0 [but a CH of 965 in December 2018]+1587)
The Bulgarians despatched the fourth seeds, Cachín & Hamou, by 2 & 0!
I note that young Toby Kodat, US junior ranked 4th in the world, is tearing up the draw, having beaten the 4th and 5th seeds today, both relatively easily.
He won his semi in three sets & faces Hamou in the final.
