Karatsev is up to 42 in live rankings from outside top 100.
He's a sweet dude though, definitely derserves it
Is he ? I have no idea about him at all. I saw chris goldsmith called him out as having a rep for late withdrawals in matches ie leading and then retiring at 5 games in final set. Seemed to be a trait. Apparently. But i really have no idea and am glad someone his level can still do this , it gives all players hope!
Thats that tennis talker tipster guy? Pfft can't believe thay guy is still around and people still take him seriously (no offense Jon you know I love you), twitter celeb knows nothing about tennis its so bad
I knew Aslan for about a year/year and a half, cool guy never said anything, absolute beast on court, so strong

Thats probably true! But then again, I also scan the daily Mail for tennis so who am I to say whats true !
2017 world university games doubles final, Luke Johnson and jack finder-Hawkins
Lost the final in a mtb. Winner was a Russian pair that included Karatsev
Standard win for Medvedev in the end there. Rublev had a chance to break in the second and failed to convert, thereafter Medvedev ran away with it. Both players struggled in the conditions as I as type Medvedev hasnt left the court and is getting treatment for cramp. Looked pretty hot and humid out there. Not much else to say about that match really.
The blockbuster is a couple of hours away, could be in for a 5 setter.
3rd Slam QF in a row for Rublev and 4th in all but still to make a SF or indeed take s set in a QF. Has lost to Nadal, Tsitsipas and now Medvedev twice by combined sets 0-12.
Really good year all in all last year but without that Slam SF, let alone better, I couldn't support call that he was a player of the year contendor.
Would be good to see him step up for a really big breakthrough some time.

Really enjoying some of the younger players starting to come through. Tsitsipas, Medvedev, Rublev - and a bit more interesting personality than the big 3 who are now really sanitised...
