Who is the guy sitting with Dans GF, has he found a coach?

His mate who lives in oz. apparently been to lots of his slams over the years.

Dan chucks in a poor game with 2DFs, loses serve to love.  2-1 Norrie to serve.

I think the guy in Dan's corner is a pal, not a coach.

An entertaining match, but I'm sorry to see Dan lose, he is my favourite player.  At no point in the match did he look comfortable on serve. Given his level was a slightly below his best, he did well to make so close.  The 4th set was very topsy turvy.

Pleased for Cam, but I always struggle to get too excited when one Brit knocks out another. It really was a horrible draw.

Such a shame they had to play each other. Dan did so well last week and must have been feeling the effects. But well done Cam

Didn't seem the greatest of matches but hey Cam's into R2.

So now, go Cam !

On a non-GB note, really pleased to see Kokkinakis back playing and getting a 1st round win.

Mixed feelings,as below, Dan is my favourite player and it is such a shame.

Apparently Dan had decided pre Xmas he wouldnt play the week before slams again as he felt it took away from his slam performances. Of course, last week he had no choice but having had such a good week, it clearly shows how good a message that was to himself, and something he should go back to implementing.

For Cam, great win and onwards - when does he meet Rafa (who seemed dominating against Djere, so not expecting much from that now!)

If Cam and Rafa win their R2 matches on Thursday they would be due to meet on Saturday.

First time Cam has made it passed R1. Has he now made it passed R1 in all slams?

Quite poor from Cam to take out Evo given Cam will be a bunny for any half-decent player whilst Evo had a chance of doing real damage given Nadals back. Shame.

Not if he is knackered. As if you chuck a match for that.
