Schnur wont be happy with that, given Liam could have been seeded if he had entered in good time!

Good old Tennis Abstract is rating Liam as a semifinal prospect

Hopefully Jack can get a LL slot - that was not a great result for him.

Very disappointing, was hoping to see him really kick on this year as I expect many others were, but not a good start at all. Anyone know anything about Chappell, is he an under-ranked college guy?

Think he's just a late 20's ITF tournament player. Might have done college but probably a seasoned pro by now at is where.

Wee bit wet at the moment, amusing comment on the weather though: twitter.com/lu_tenis/status/1359072403092082690

They're back up and running, and Ryan's just broken back to put in on serve.

Chappell must be playing well as he has just beaten Nicola Kuhn.

Wasn't Benchetrit the guy that destroyed Norrie at the French a couple of years ago?

 Yes, that's the one cry

He's the French guy who's just switched nationality to Moroccan, having had a tiff with the FFT (and/or wanting to represent his dad's country, depending how you want to interpret things)

And it's now one set all - just starting the third.

Allez, Ryan

He's a tenacious player, Ryan.

He's been down a break twice or three times in the third but managed to hang in.

And has just broken back as EB served for it at 5-3

Good fight from Ryan who survives a match point and then breaks back for *4-5 in the decider.
