Successful qualifiers shall have their hospitality at the official hotel made retroactive from Friday night (not applicable for events with 48 main draw).
This is intriguing: does the player get to go back in time and check in earlier?
Either way it works for Ryan. The way I read it is that as he got through qualifying every time the only actual day he would have to pay is Thursday each week.

Cool. It must be so hard for these players. I respect the fact that they try for the challengers even though they do not know if they will even make the main draw.
Pity. 4 challenger qualifications in a row but can't get a MD win from these. Tough one today.
Ryan's ranking has been creeping up though. Now live ranked 369 as against his CH 359 from November 2019.
And that is good to see (his ranking rise). I recall he did well in some Brits events last year and then some of us (me among them) wondered why he wasnt playing back end of last year and wanted to see him play ranking events - well, he is giving it a go now and hopefully just needs a break or two.
hard to say what his natural high is, or level, but top 250 would be a good target to aim at?
L16: (WC) Aleksandre Metreveli & Dmitry Popko (GEO/KAZ) CR 1552 (1152+400) vs Tatsuma Ito (JPN) & Ryan Peniston UNR (0 [but a CH of 312 in June 2014]+634)
Ryan/Tatsuma have withdrawn and given a walkover. Ito injured, not Ryan.
