RE: Week 11 - ATP 500 - Dubai Duty Free Championships, UAE (hard)

When is the last time an ATP500 final featured a qualifier and a wildcard??!!   Karatsev beat Rublev in 3.  What has changed with Karatsev?  Different players mature at different ages (vis our Dan), but I've heard it said that a tennis player's prime starts at the age of 23.  But When AK was 23 he had not broken into the top 500. Whatever the reason, it is refreshing to see some new faces.

Does anyone know if Dan has entered dubs in Miami?

Dan plays his singles against Karatsev at 13:00 local time.  I think it will be a tough match, Karatsev is in a rich vein of form.

Karatsev wins the title and into the top 30.
