Well, the 'good' news is that Ben Jones will play Ali Habib in round 1.

Given that's a wildcard v a qualifier, I think to have a guaranteed winner out of the two of them is a result.

Giacomo has not been so lucky, having drawn the third seed.

After George Loff yesterday, we have an even bigger 'don't look now' situation, with Giacomo having taken the first set, 6-3, against the 3rd seed.

Wow, apart from seeing the odd result on here, I know nothing at all about Giacomo, what sort of age is he? Was/is he a junior/college player?

The second set was VERY close but Giacomo lost it, just, 4-6.

You'd imagine that the third set will run away from him now.

He's 19. Was a reasonable junior but nothing amazing (top 500 or so)

I have the feeling he's Scottish but I might be making that up.

I know he did a US college recruitment video last year but I don't know if he was accepted or where
