Mick used to be Marcus Willis' mate and occasional doubles partner.

That's definitely one of George's better results recently, and with a decent scoreline.

Mick was top 500 not long ago (as SC highlights), he's not chopped liver.

Brouwer won the 25k last week in Switzerland.

Which doesn't bode well for George.

But maybe he's tired, or a bit flat after his title, or feels like doing tennis-lite for a week ????

Anyway, George has lost to some pretty lowly ranked players in the past few weeks - so maybe he'll do better against a higher one???

De Schepper beat the eighth seed, his compatriot, Arthur Reymond, by 2 & 4 to reach the QF.
