Is (was) de Schepper a bit of a serial Brit Basher or is that just my imagination? Very good win for George regardless!
Don't remember that, although you may be right. I think he was Kyle's first victory at ATP level at Eastbourne on the grass.. Or if not the first, then one of the first.

QF: (Q) George Loffhagen WR 936 defeated Kenny de Schepper (FRA) WR 647 by 4 & 4
George was 1-4* at one point in that second set!
SF: (Q) Jamiee Floyd Angele (FRA) WR 755 (CH = 595 in April 2019) vs (Q) George Loffhagen WR 936
Angele had just beaten the Israeli top seed, Leshem (WR 391), by 4 & 3. Could be an interesting semi...
He's actually Jaimee, not Jamiee.
I've always been quite a big fan of his - we've talked about him before - a really tall young man (6ft 8 or 9 or so?) who - in my view - has a lot of promise.
He's only 20 and, being that tall, is taking a while to 'grow into himself', so to speak.
Rather like George, he's had some awful results, and some really tight losses, and some amazing matches thrown in for good measure.
I'm hoping George and Jaimee will be playing a lot of tennis against each other in the future

Ridiculous name, ridiculous spelling either way!
It's basically the hispanic name Jaime, pretty old and well-established, hardly ridiculous
As Jon says, more hebrew-sounding 'Hi-me', rather than Jamie
Lots of them in Spain and Portugal, don't know why that makes if a daft spelling (the extra 'e' is presumably just a little tweak, rather like Jamie instead of James, although it hardly changes the pronunciation in this case)
His dad is Venezuelan so I guess that's where it comes from (his mum is Flemish Belgian)
NB Not sure how he chooses to pronounce it himself, in France. Many kids with foreign names in France call themselves a bastardized French version of the name, just for ease, because so many French people have trouble with foreign names
