Is (was) de Schepper a bit of a serial Brit Basher or is that just my imagination? Very good win for George regardless!
Don't remember that, although you may be right. I think he was Kyle's first victory at ATP level at Eastbourne on the grass.. Or if not the first, then one of the first.

Forgive me if Im wrong but I have a vague memory of KdS having a great year in the English challengers beating the likes of Milton etc? or am I imagining things?
But I note that the bookies think that George is the clear favourite (1.57 against 2.25)
Which I find a little strange but in keeping with the fact that the GB players are always tighter than they should be a match odds, in my view (is that because there are more GB punters who only punt on UK players? Makes sense to me to bet on the other guy - that way you're always happy, whatever the outcome.....)
But will be interesting.... in terms of recent form, the two are almost identical, as in identically bad - both had a really pretty poor trip to Sharm recently.
And, as said, very similar profiles (Jaimee has a markedly lower ranking in juniors (about JCH 80 as opposed to JCH 20 or so). But, given his height, juniors was never going to be his thing and anyway, juniors is juniors.
Will also be interesting if George ends up playing Kyrian Jacquet in the final (he's lower seeded than Poulain but probably the better player)
Kyrian is the same age as George, born 2001.
Never too high in juniors (about 250 max or so)
But is rated pretty highly - the FFT like him - he's had some pretty important wildcards - and, at ATP 500 or so, has a decent ranking for a 2001-er.
However, not that consistent, has had some behavioural issues, had a purple patch in adults and then seemed to have a down period - so all very interesting....
