Week 11 - ATP 500 - Abierto Mexicano telcel, Acapulco, Mexico (hard)

Cam and Koepfer have played twice, both a few years back on the Challenger and Futures circuits, both on US hardcourts, and are 1 all.

Suspect it will be close but just favour Cam.

Cam has broken serve, now serving at 4-2 up.

Koepfer broke back, 3-4.

I really must go to bed, tennis watching is tooooooooo addictive!

First set down the pan by 5-7.  hmm  At least he's putting up more of a fight - so far - than Big Milos.  I'm off to bed.

Skupskis are a break up at 4-2
Cam is holding for dear life but he needs a miracle.

Big match for Ken and Neal v Jamie and Bruno. If Ken wins that next match, he gets enough points that he will jump 7 places and up to 55 I think it was, from 62. It is very tightly packed around that spot, further wins would lead to additional decent jumps.

Good spot, it is a big match for them I hope they win.

And Ken has got 55th live rank now with that win, another over Joe will take him to 51. Neal is back to a CH of 26. good for them.

Well done Joe, Ken and Neal, good results for them.

Sad to see Cam not quite do it, Ive a soft spot for Koepfer but thought Cam would win.

Ken and Neal are 15th in the very early doubles race now. A tournie win here would take them 5th. A long way to go but that would give us players in 3 pairs in the top 8 of the race.

I think it'll be 00.01 Friday in the UK for Joe/Rajeev v the Skupskis.
