QR1:  (qWC) James Hopper UNR vs (q6) Evan Song (USA) WR 529 (CH = 314 in January 2019)

Hopper's is a new name on me.  As he has a qWC (& another in the doubles), I assume he's on a scholarship to Cleveland State Uni.  Tough draw!  cry

 James + got a walkover into the next round.

I notice in the singles here that 6 of the seeds fell in round 1. Considering the entries had a reasonable spread of rankings that was a bit unexpecte.
