RE: Week 13 - Andalucía Challenger 80 (€44,820) - Marbella, Spain (clay) - doubles

SF:  (1) Dominic Inglot & Matt Reid (AUS) CR 159 (62+97) defeated Carlos Gómez & Mario Vilella (ESP/ESP) CR 566 (261+305) by 7-6(5) 6-4

*****

Final:  (1) Dominic Inglot & Matt Reid (AUS) CR 159 (62+97) vs (2) Romain Arneodo & Hugo Nys (MON/MON) CR 163 (96+67)

Two Frenchmen who switched their allegiance to Monaco...

Well done to Dom and Matt, won each match this week with a straight sets win, but including a TB each time. good warm up for Marbella ATP next week and clay court season in general. Dom probably should be expecting to have reached the final, although Dom/Matt are top seeded, I would rate the Monagasques as favourites to win the final

None of the first three, definitely the fourth, but as a demonym of some kind is probably required, Monégasque or Monacan, if an anglicised version is sought.

First set goes quickly 6-1. Hope they can pull it round. But always fancied the monarchists to take this
