I see that both Dan & Coria have only been awarded 45 doubles ranking points rather than 90 for reaching the SF that they withdrew from.
So Dan is on 1365 points (WR 82) rather than 1410 points.
Is that allowed? Ie they won the qf, is that a common rule ie anyone withdrawing loses the points from the stage they reach?
I've seen it in the WTA though usually just one of the pair ( presumably the one that officially withdraws ). But I can't recall seeing it with the ATP.
I don't know if there's more to it but anyway that's the points that are showing.
Yes, it's in the rulebook. Points and prize money from the previous round only. There are quite a few exceptions to the rule, but can't have applied here.
