Well done Paul, good week. Tough final but presumably he will have got a few ranking spots already this week?

Yes, good to see Paul getting back to much better form in recent weeks.

Last week plus this week should so far take him up to about WR 470 when these points ars added. About WR 460 ( and GB #11 ahead of Brydan ) if he wins the final

Time for Paul to move up to 25K now, he would've made seeded qualifying for 2 25k week of 19/4 and MD in the one in Germany. Entered in another 15k week of 26/4 but there are now 25k that week.

Paul has come out of the traps well, two early breaks. 3-0 and 40-30 as I type.

Going to push that career high pretty soon.

Now 5-2 ahead, although serve under pressure. The Indian seems to have got more into the match. Good to tie up this first set without losing a serve if Paul can do it.

Pauls season seems to have been a steady build based around these events in Sharmh. Gradually going one round further
Til he won an event in Sharmh late Feb. Took a short break and a step back and another build now. The feb event he lost 1 set; this week he hasnt lost any , yet.

He has 3 career titles , 2018, 2019 and 1 in 2021 so far. Two would be nice.

Tie break now, Paul seems to start fast and then tighten towards end of sets, get the job done, Jubb!
