Week 14 - UKPro League - Week 3, Loughborough (Indoor Hard)

If Billy beats Julian in straight sets. Anyone know what the decider is? Is it the H2h or a set/game count through the week?

Pretty certain it is based on head-to-head.

JonH - my table was copied from the official table last night wink

Julian Cash won in straight sets and joins Jack Draper as guaranteed semifinalists, cash should play Anton matusevich in the semis.

Henry patten won and is equal with Lui at the top. Lui still to play and Tom Hands could equal them both. No idea how they work out ties?

But Jack can't be playing his semi-final is he withdrew and didn't play today, surely?

Yeah, I think if you turn up, and retire mid match, like Eden last year (vs Nadia), and Olivia N this week (vs Emily), then you're good to continue in the event, but if you don't turn up, also like Olivia later this week, then that's it for your participation.

I think Draper takes top from Cash on Head to head, both on 12 points. If Draper is still allowed to play on ?

Other group Lui and Henry are equal on 8 and Henry won their h2h so I think he joins Anton.

So jack v Henry and Anton v julian.

But that could be wrong...

I'd be surprised if Jack is still in. Pretty sure if you don't play a day that's it. Will be Julian as #1 and then George/Billy depending on the current tiebreak between Harry and George.

Its a shame the organisers dont put up clearer rules re things like that, how points are awarded with retirements and how ties are decided in groups. Its almost like they want to obfuscate deliberately

The official tables have been published.

Pool A Julian Cash 12, George Houghton 7
Pool B Anton Matusevich 15, Henry Patten 8 (Lui Maxted 8, but misses out)

I'll look for the order of play later for the minor positions.
