HH was not present at the races today, he was limping around in the second set, looking up at his camp a lot, taking no time between points, spraying the ball deliberately wide and long. Just wanted to get off the court.

But this was all, partly at least, because Dan had closed him down really well in the first set, and just snuffed the power out of his game.

He'd have been a different player, I reckon, if he'd won the first set.

Well, Dan got the job done and clearly got into HH head it seems. A good win nonetheless and Djoko up next!

And Dan is back to 29 in the live rankings. Key is to try and hold on to a French Open seeding position, so every win will count, particularly at 1000 level.

 Indeed! Cant recall if Joe and Rajeev have decent history on clay but suspect its their weakest link, particularly the slow conditions this week.

 He was in R2 of the French Open in 2019 and 2020 so that really means singles matches
