Well in the last month in a challenger in Lugano and a 25K in Biel in Switzerland and then a challenger in Split in Croatia before just having this past week off. Only won one match ( in the 25K ) in these 3 weeks though.

The outcome with updated rankings:

L32:  (PR) Thanasi Kokkinakis (AUS) WR 215 defeated Jay Clarke WR 233 by 2 & 4

I'm not even remotely surprised.  cry

Being honest, Kokkinakis is a cut above his ranking, he really is a top 50 (or higher) player in reality, just hit hard by injury, but coming back.

No one was remotely surprised by that one.

The betting sites has Kokki as the overwhelming favourite.

That is a decent-ish score from Jay, one of his better ones.

He has been the next big Australian thing since 2014.  He will never be a top 50 player, like many Australian players, no brain.

Seems unfair to a country which gave us possibly the greatest player ever in rod laver, and rosewall, hoad, Newcombe, Roche, cash, mcnamara, Hewitt and many other great players, and women like Court (possibly the greatest womens player) and Goolagong...

True, but think we can convincingly argue that Margaret Court does also have no brain
