Jack just taken the first set 6-4.

As an aside, I noticed Jack, Lui, and Matilda are in the Roland garros juniors main draws. Will Nolan and Amelia Bissett are in alt lists at around 22nd each, a few others much lower down. But hopefully we will have those 2 boys and Matilda playing.

Final:  (5) Bastián Malla (CHI) WR 575 defeated (JR) Jack Pinnington Jones UNR by 4-6 6-1 6-2  cry

The match lasted for two hours & 27 minutes.  The Chilean must be the tennis equivelent of the Duracell bunny!  Still an excellent week for JPJ.

Well done Jack on a breakthrough week as a pro!

Hope he can finish his junior career at RG and Wimbledon on a high and then focus on the pros. Meantime, hes is Cairo again next week isnt he?
