Grade 1 LTA British Tour Masters
The National Tennis Centre Monday 20-Wednesday 22 December 2021 Invitation only
Not sure how the Tour Masters works, in the past I think it has been a 24 draw field in mens and also womens? So they play a couple of matches a day and then a final? Not sure, but it is now a couple of weeks before the next event in Hull

Last year was a 2 day event whereas they have allocated 3 this year, so perhaps they will expand the entry a little - the field looks like being a fair bit weaker though than last year. I guess we where mid Pandemic lockdown then and overseas playing opportunities where sparse.

Ah, sorry didnt spot this - LTA site so hard to find things!! Thanks Madadman and Lambda. So groups over first two days and semis and final on 3rd day?
2 x Round Robin groups of 4 players, with top 2 players in each group progressing to
knock-out semi-final
Players winning a Premier Tier event, who are recognised by the ITF as playing under Great
Britain will be offered a wild card to play the British Tour Masters, plus there will be 1
discretionary wild card from the LTA Performance Team. The remaining places in the event
will be offered in order of final positions on the LTA British Tour leader board, with no
requirement for a minimum number of events played. If a wild card is not required, then the
next player on the leader board will be offered the place
Not sure who the Premier winners where now earlier in the season but that might boost the entry level a little
Looking back there have been two Premier Tier events, NTC-1 and Nottingham-2, with Katarina Stresnakova winning both the womens events, and Lui Maxted and George Houghton the mens. So presumably, based on above, these players will get Wild card offers into the final. There is one more Premier Tier event at Graves in Sheffield, which is the last qualifier event.
