Danielle Daley, Annali Olivelle feature in the Women's Grade 2. Freya Christie, Joanna Garland, Amelia Rajecki, Emma Wilson feature in the Grade 1/ Premier, with Dan Little & Luke Johnson seeded in the Men's
Jo Garland is a name Ive not seen in a while. I thought she had left the UK and was playing for Taipei?
She does play for Taipei, and she has been playing ITF events regularly since September. Currently WR498, with a CH of 463 in September
Looks like I might have jinxed the poor girl - after being pleased to see Millie B competing here, and that she was therefore better, and she'd won her first match, she then lost to Amelia Rajecki and then withdrew from the subsequent match....
Anyway, looks like Mimi and Amelia R will go through in group C.
Hannah and Freya both won this morning in group B, and will play this afternoon for first and second spots (both go through)
Same for Fran D and Jo Garland in group A
in Group D, Emma Wilson beat Ranah, 10-8 in the MTB
Emma has qualified for the play-offs. Ranah will play Mayela for the other spot

I assume this is likely Hannah's first match against a WTA ranked opponent?

Joanna at wta 498 is not far off her CH of 463. TPE women are currently down to 10 ranked players - not many tournaments recently in their part of the world, It will be interesting to see how many turn up in AUS.
There's some enticing looking matches in the QF stage:
Jo Garland v Mimi
Emma Wilson v Hannah
Millie Rajecki v Fran Davis
Freya v Ranah
No results yet today, but I would go for the first named above to win each qf. Second match may be close but I think Emma will come through based on experience mainly. Ranah could get close but again experience should be enough.
