Cam is unspectacular, but he played a tight match with very few errors. DS made more errors than he would expect to. I think Berretini will be a step too far, hope I'm proved wrong.
I am pretty sure that this is Cam's best ever points haul.
Shapavalov was struggling with his footing which gifted Cam a few points, but it was a really excellent win.
If Cam isn't seeded there are going to be quite a few nervous players looking at the draw .

Whatever todays result, Berrettini looks a real threat at Wimbledon .
Sure but 3 of those tournaments were in 2019. I do think Matteo may be too strong for Cam but I hope I'm wrong!
On the other hand, this is 2021 for Cam:

Cameron Norrie's career year:
- 3 ATP finals (first ATP 500 final), 6 QFs - New career high of #34+ - Wimbledon seed - #12 in race - 29-12 W-L (71%). His previous best was 19-18 (51%) - Third most wins on ATP - 5 top 20 wins, 10 top 30. Had 4 career top 20 wins before 2021
I think it will be v interesting between two of the seasons form players. An Italian qualifying for Turin is v important this year, Matteo or Sinner, Musetti, Fognini, Sonegobut Berrettini is the most interesting and being able to keep his 2019 form into 2021 makes him a real challenger.
But I hope Cam wins today and gets his first title.
