Really unfortunate that his ranking is not really improving despite all these good wins.

I'm beginning to think that he would need to win the French Open to get a Wimbledon seeding.

He's adding points certainly, but only climbing a few places, bith OER and liveeu have him at WR45 on live rankings. But he only has 10 points from last year's FO to drop before Wimbledon (plus a couple of non-counters), so even a couple of wins at RG should make a difference. The players immediately above him in the rankings generally have 90 or 180 points to defend, so if results go his way ............

Yes brilliant from Cam. He has really stepped up this year - previously I hadnt rated him as going much higher than the 40-50 mark but I think now he is certainly able to go top 30 if not a bit more and I am delighted that he is proving me wrong!

Interestingly OER have some alternative scenario rankings showing which strip out the effects of COVID. There are 2 different ones (one the next played rule and one the normal 52 week rule) - before this weeks points go on Cam would have been 30 or 31 so just shows how his ranking is being impacted and that he is playing at a higher level (and would be in line for a seeding position at both the French and Wimbledon).

Incidentally on the same basis, Dan would be 21/22 and Liam 93 highlighting that they would have moved up too (and confirming Liams frustrations about his ranking too!).

The final tomorrow will be a toughie but good luck!

Certainly good stuff by Cam. Up 4 places to live 45 is not to be sniffed at and he will be matching his CH 41 if he wins the final.

Wouldn't have really expected more from such sucess in an ATP 250 once you are in the top 50 unless the rankings were unusually closely grouped.

Keep adding these wins and points, Cam, and as others have indicated there are real further possibilties beyond this week.

Cam is up to live 14 in this years race and he could go 13 ( Dan is live 16 ). At this stage looking good for his pretty ambitious goal of year end top 30, although some pre 2021 points will still count to the 2021 year end rankings.

Tsitsipas has one of the best records on clay this year, so it was always going to be stretch to get anything out of the match, but this week means Cam's gotta be going into Roland Garros with some confidence.

 I make it that Tsitsipas is a close 2nd to Nadal for ranking points won over the 7 weeks so far of the 2021 clay season. I like the pair that I make to be joint 10th!

1. Nadal  1860

2. Tsitsipas  1820

3. Zverev  1315

10= Evans  460

10= Norrie  460
