I'm thinking Aidan might well have got a quali wildcard, based on recent good form, the fact he's suddenly disappeared from the draws in Santo Domingo (despite being in the entry list) and being quite a favourite with the LTA

Are we talking Wimbledon here or Queens.
ETA Assume it's Wimbledon, it's the Womens thread that has all the tournaments under wimby WC

Yes, I'd meant Wimbledon.
And I see he's got one for Notts challenger now. So might depend how he performs there....
Presumably Draper just underlined an already secured wild card, ditto Jay must have had his ticked off today. Anton and Aidan make a play though - is it Wednesday they are announced ? Will they play again to get another chance to make a claim on the wildcards?
Just looking at the Wimbledon entry lists - noted that Nicolas Mahut and Jack Sock are just outside the qualies cut off - wouldnt be surprised to see either of them get at least a qwc

Yeah Mahut for sure is possible given his record match a few years back. Sock I like , is he that close though ? I thought he was down in the 200s now?
edit - see your talking Qwc, yes.. and Robredo is in a similar place

Yes Mahut is 14th alt and Sock 18th (for qualies) and both in the top 250. Sock certainly on the way back from injury and as both are previous doubles winners could well be favoured. Not certain by any means but probably worth a shout in the absence of any worthy GB ones.

Also on commentary at Queens today (Amazon not BBC) the commentator (not sure who) said that Will Jansen as winner of the recent U18 was getting a qwc too.

Yes, that was a stipulated reward for this year's nationals U18 winners.

Alcaraz is a good shout for a WC. Great to see so many of the younger ones in quals - and they used them all unlike the women.
No Paul Jubb though...
Saw a tweet that said Mahut had asked for a WC as he plans to retire from singles but no source and unclear as to what WC he asked for. Given they have a few MD ones spare, I would give him one of those.
