Wimbledon WCs - Men

Tickets available for No.1 court Tuesday and Wednesday right now if anyone wants to try and get one. I haven't managed to get a centre court or ground pass ticket though and thursday.

I notice from Darts Rankings that Anton has been taken off the list of Qwc and one is now vacant.

He isnt appearing at all, could have been given a main draw wild card?

Indeed this MTF chat seems to surmise the same thing re Anton being upgraded to main draw

As of the WC update last night, Anton is still a qWC and he is still on the qualifying entry list as a WC.

He should be, he's beaten roughly the same ranking players as Emma and she has been upgraded

Anton doesn't appear on the players list on the Wimbledon website given Liu Maxted is on there as a junior so clearly all players are on that list I suspect he's withdrawn. Hopefully I'm wrong.

but are other players in qualies (and not in a main draw) on the list - I think they only add thme to it when they get into a main draw of some form or other? If he had withdrawn, wouldnt he be out of this weeks event also, which he looks like he is still planning to play today?

ok, he has been added back in by that board then - he was definitely taken out and the wc slot left blank, which was noticed by mtf reports as well...so it seems there was a mistake which is rectified.

apologies for causing any hares to run wild - maybe if he gets the win today, he will get upgraded anyway...

as said, he was 100 percent removed and has been put back in. yes, correct, i agree, but it was changed. i even took a screen shot on my phone which i cant post here but stake my career as a rubbish aspiring tennis journo on it....hohoho

Having looked through the players list, it's incomplete. Ryan Penniston and Jack PJ are on there, Anton, Aidan, Arthur and Felix aren't so hopefully rectified soon
