Re the non seed match ( from Thiem's section ), both Davidovich Fokina and Delbonis had pretty good clay court seasons coming in, including each having had a Masters QF appearance, Davidovich in Monte Carlo and Delbonis in Rome.
Odd that Zverev the elder, although still playing, has the job of talking to players on court after the end of the match and talking to camera before the start of the match
I saw and liked Koepfer in the ilkley final in 2019, but didnt see him as a clay counter. Hardcourt was his thing but he did ok on the grass that year. But hes going good here and I fancy him taking this versus fed
