L64:  (Q) Oscar Otte (GER) WR 151 (CH = 129 in October 2017) vs (WC) Andy Murray WR 118

Hilarious final tie break at 12-12 where Otte gets to 7, goes back towards  the service line, only to turn in amazement as the umpire says 'game, set and match - his face was a picture! He thought it was a mtb and had no idea he'd won!

Who's the idiot doing the voiceover on BBC2?  She's doing an even better job of butchering the pronunciation of the foreign players' names than Sue Barker - or Mike Bushell, come to that!  furious

Chanda Rubin was commentating with Sam Smith on the Barty match, not sure if that's who you mean.

No, it's not.  Definitely not Rubin, who's obviously a Yank (even confused her with Tracy Austin until Sam addressed her as "Chanda").  That match was, I think, on BBC1.  It wasn't commentary on any match in particular.  It was an unfamiliar Scottish female, who was stuggling to maintain continuity, for want of a better way of describing it, by mentioning results or matches due to be  played while there was no live coverage for a short time on BBC2.  I think it then switched to showing highlights of Katie Boulter's very welcome win over Danielle Lao yesterday.

Yes I heard that. It sounded like technical difficulties across the platfoms. It sounded like her mic shouldn't have been switched on....could have been veeeeerrrrry awkward

What a dreadful end by Cam. Two double faults. Loses the tb. Having had 2 sps.
First set gone

Nick K looking decent . Humbert no mug on grass and Nick took it comfortably.

fed looking vulnerable, got lucky today.

The grass seems dangerous though.

Hope Cam doesn't live to regret those two DFs at the business end of the TB.

Love watching Dan Evans play . A really good performance today against Lopez and his draw has opened up , hopefully he makes the most of this opportunity and can get to the second week .

Evo 2nd on Court 1 tomorrow. Do I overrate him or do I look at this 1/4 of the draw and don't see anyone he can't beat?

Yep, only 4 seeds remain in that quarter and I'm happy to take Khachanov, Shapovalov and Bautista Agut as the orher 3 along with a  certain former double Wimbledon champion and reigning Olympic champion

Well in that section , sadly, Andy is rated by tennis abstract as a last 16 chance. Which hed take Im sure!

but Evo is rated as a last 4 chance to play Djoko. Which Im also sure hed take as well. And we know Evo can beat Djoko.

Might as well give him the trophy now then.

That section is so open, especially with Karen not being able to develop alongside his peers. He was the big pick at one point. Evo has as good chance as any. Not sure about Cam on the grass but hey, we need one of them to step up. Nothing happening on the women's side after all.

Looks like it should by dry if cool all day to day according to the forecast on the BBC. And then warming up next couple of days, but we should be dry for the most part through the rest of the tournie...fingers crossed!

Love him or loathe him Nick knows he is there to entertain, he was so much fun last night. If he makes it through today, when he plays next look at his towel count,
