Liam was 1-4 break point down in the 4th, had a shot called out had a what the heck kinda of challenge that actually worked. Turned it around for 4-4. Had 0-30 in the next game but started netted easy returns. Had a short ball at deuce which he should have taken up the line but his drop shot hit bottom of the net. Schwartzman - who had been excellent - had dropped his level. Opportunity missed to ride the wave of the crowd and get into the 5th.

L64: (WC) Andy Murray WR 118 defeated (Q) Oscar Otte (GER) WR 151 by 6-3 4-6 4-6 6-4 6-2 in three hours & 50 minutes
That man certainly loves to put our emotions through the wringer, doesn't he? Fair play to Otte. He played his part & did a lot better (& showed more finesse) than I expected, but with the roof closed & the crowd on Andy's side, he had a mountain to climb. I guess years of Grand Slam, especially Wimbledon, experience told in the end. The grumpy Andy of old, too, complete with some vintage shots!
