Dan Evans will be very disappointed with this performance. Its not as if Korda played a great match . Poor serving at crucial moments cost Dan and he will regret blowing a great chance to get to the QFs.

I love to watch Dan , but this didn't look like it was going his way from pretty early on. Maybe it was the match up, but Dan seemed on the back foot throughout.

Cheered myself up by switching to the Venus/Kyrgios mixed doubles.

Dan couldn't seem to get his slice deep enough in the first set and his forehand, which he used to accelerate the point and surprise the opponent so well on hard, wasn't zipping through at all. Missed opportunity.
